During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sarah Silverman claimed that their romance began after she returned to video gaming.
Rory Albanese’s boyfriend, Sarah Silverman, claims she played a hilarious magic trick on him.
Sarah Silverman has a few — or at least one — tricks up her sleeve.
The actress and comedian stated on Thursday’s edition of Late Night with Seth Meyers that she and boyfriend Rory Albanese have been watching a lot of Columbo together during the lockdown. However, when watching the television alone one night, she came upon something quite interesting.
“One night when I was alone, I said, ‘I really want to watch a Columbo – do you mind?’ ‘No, I don’t mind,’ he replied. I also watched a Columbo [episode] that included a magician… “They revealed a magic trick,” Silverman, 50, explained. “I’m not a big lover of magic, but I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to do this with Rory’s
When Albanese returned home, he “‘Pick a number between 1 and 5,’ I said. And when he says 3, I say, “Look under the blender.” Meyers, 47, recalled Silverman. “There’s a letter under the blender, he notices. ‘I knew you’d pick No. 3,’ it says. ‘No way!’ he exclaimed. And we were both laughing, and I was feeling really good.”

Albanese, 43, then asked his girlfriend, “‘What exactly is it?’ Is it something to do with psychology? ‘Isn’t it true that the majority of individuals choose three?'”
“And I say, “No.” ‘What if I chose No. 1?’ he asks. ‘Look beneath the stapler,’ I say.” With a grin on his face, Silverman stated. “We couldn’t stop laughing since it’s so ridiculous! It’s basically simply a lot of walking. Magic is nothing more than hard work.”

The Marry Me actress, on the other hand, told Meyers that she isn’t a big admirer of magic in general.
“This is something I’m not proud of, but it irritates me. I imagine myself as someone who would, for example, burn a witch at the stake in Salem “she stated “I’m not sure what it is. It’s not rage, but I’m just like, ‘What does it matter?’ He’d picked up a new skill.’ But I understand that’s also what humor is, so.”
The actress met her fiance while playing Call of Duty: WWII online while staying at home during the COVID-19 issue, which turned out to be an unexpected silver lining.
During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October, she said, “As the world was shutting down, I felt I should start playing video games again.” “We would knock the pots and pans out on the fire escape about 7 p.m. while I was in New York. Then, at 7:05 p.m., I’d put on my headset and team up with this guy to fight Nazis. We’re boyfriend and girlfriend, yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda”
During an interview on The Howard Stern Show the following month, Silverman verified her beau’s name. (Albanese is a comedian, writer, and producer most known for his work on Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show.)
“We’d like to just be together all the time forever,” she said of their future relationship to Howard Stern. “I suppose if Rory was someone who said, ‘I need to be married,’ I’d think about it.”
