Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller is an actor, comedian, and director from the United States. He was born on November 30, 1965.
Stiller dated actresses like Jeanne Tripplehorn, Calista Flockhart, and Amanda Peet when he was just starting out in TV and movies. He married actress Christine Taylor in May 2000 in Kauai, Hawaii, in front of the ocean. They met in 1999 while making a TV pilot for Fox Broadcasting called Heat Vision and Jack that was never shown. Both became vegetarians to improve their health.
Taylor and Stiller split up in 2017 after being married for 17 years. After living together during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, the couple got back together.
Even though Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s love story isn’t perfect, it seems to end well.
During the pandemic, the director of the movie “Severance” got back together with his wife, Christine Taylor. He is very happy with how his life has turned out.
Stiller told ET’s Denny Directo, “I’m so happy with where I am in my life, and the fact that we can even be here together doing this right now is something we no longer take for granted.” “The last few years have given everyone a chance to get in touch with a lot of that,” he said.

Stiller talked to Esquire about directing Severance for Apple TV+ and what brought him and Taylor back together after they broke up in 2017.
Stiller moved back into the family home when the pandemic started so he could see his 19-year-old daughter Ella and his 16-year-old son Quinlin during the early lockdown. But soon, something changed.
“It changed over time,” he said to the magazine. “We were apart, but now we’re back together, which makes us happy. It’s been a lot of fun for everyone. Unexpected, and one thing that happened because of the pandemic.”
Stiller used an analogy to explain what got their relationship back on track. He also said that respecting each other’s similarities and differences was the key for the longtime couple.
“I realized a few years ago that I don’t like riding horses. If I have the chance to ride a horse, I’m probably not going to do it. Now, I like horses! I think they are lovely. I like petting them. I like watching people ride horses, I like watching my kids ride horses. I just don’t like riding horses that much “Stiller shared. “Once you know that, you don’t have to try as hard. So, yeah, I think we respect both how we are the same and how we are different.”
“I think if you can accept that, you can really love someone more because you’re not trying to change them for you,” he said. “You save a lot of energy once you realize that. “This is what works for me, and this is what doesn’t work for me.” If you trust your partner that much, you’ll know that when I say, “I don’t like doing that,” I’m not saying, “I don’t like you.”
Stiller and Taylor never filed for divorce
After 17 years of marriage, the couple split up in 2017 and said so in a joint statement. Stiller and Taylor have never actually filed for a divorce.
Stiller and Taylor said at the time that they were breaking up because they loved and respected each other very much and had been together for 18 years. “Our main goal will always be to be good parents and good friends to our children. We would appreciate it if the media respect our privacy right now.”
Since they broke up, they have been seen together at a few events, including the U.S. Open tennis tournament in New York last year and the 71st Emmy Awards, where they arrived together.
The couple met while making a TV pilot called “Heat Vision and Jack,” which was never shown. They got married in May 2000 in Kauai, Hawaii, in front of the ocean.
Stiller told ET in a 2007 interview, “When I met her, I pretty much thought, ‘That’s the person.'” “It was like, “Wow, this person is great.” I love her.'”
