Brandon died early on Sunday, January 29, 2023, when he was 32 years old. He was the son of comedian Ricky Smiley, who was well-known.

Rickey Smiley is sad about the death of his son. The  Morning Show host posted on Instagram on January 29 that his son had died while he was driving to his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. Brandon had turned 32.

The reason Brandon died was not made public. He is survived by his mom Brenda, his 3-year-old daughter Storm, his 21-year-old brother Malik, and his sisters D’Essence, 25, Taylor, 22, and Aaryn, 21. Rickey said in his video, “I’m fine.” “Pray for my son’s mom and his brothers and sisters.” He is also in a relationship with his girlfriend with which he has a daughter. Till the date of his death, Brandon Smiley has not married anyone. However, he was in a relationship with his girlfriend Brooke Antonette. They were going out since the fall of 2018. They had a baby girl together, whose name is Strom Smiley, and was born on July 31, 2019. We don’t know very much about his girlfriend. He never talked about her in public and never shared a picture of her on social media, but he did share a lot of pictures of his daughter. Brandon Smiley‘s father is Broderick Dornell Smiley. He is an American stand-up comedian, TV host, actor, and radio personality who is known for his prank phone calls. Smiley disguises his voice during the calls and talks to the person who answers the phone. He is the host of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, which is broadcast all over the country from WHTA “Hot 107.9” in Atlanta.

Brandon’s Father Rickey said in his video, “I’m fine.” “Pray for my son’s mom and his brothers and sisters.” He kept going, “Now I understand what my grandfather went through and how he felt. My granddaddy went through this with my dad, and now I’m going through the same thing. So please just pray for us.”

During an episode of his Panic Room podcast, Rickey Smiley told fellow comedian Pierre Edwards that he had been married to Brandon’s mother Brenda for 12 years. In the clip, he says, “I was married for 12 years.” Pierre answers, “I did nine.” Smiley says that he was faithful to his wife and “never cheated, nothing.” Pierre says that Smiley is “a different kind of guy.” That talk took place in May 2022.
