A source told Page Six at the time that the Oscar winner’s divorce from Summer Phoenix was finalized in 2017.

Casey Affleck and his wife Summer got a divorce in 2017 after being married for 11 years, but they had been living apart since 2015, according to The Hollywood Reporter. At first, their divorce agreement was a little confusing because the “Ain’t Them Bodies Saints” actor wrote on the official paperwork that he would not pay spousal support. However, according to TMZ, the former couple has reached a financial agreement.

Affleck gave Phoenix $4,000 for child support, and he also paid for the kids’ private school tuition for the next two years.

Spousal support was not paid by the actor. According to court documents, Phoenix makes $24,000 a year as an actress, model, and designer.

Affleck and Phoenix, who is Joaquin Phoenix’s little sister, started dating in 2000. After six years together and the birth of their first son, they married in June 2006. They were last seen at a public event in 2014.

In the end, their courtship led to a marriage: in 2006, Affleck married Phoenix’s sister.

Affleck and his ex-best friend and brother-in-law, Joaquin Phoenix, decided to sell an asset they owned together a few years after they got divorced. People says that in 2020, Affleck and Phoenix sold the New York City loft they owned together. After being on the market for $3.5 million, the unit sold for $3.13 million.

After they got divorced and stopped being friends, two “I’m Still Here” crew members accused Affleck of sexual misconduct in 2018. This made things even harder for Phoenix and Affleck to get along.
