Katy and Tony have a son, who was born in April 2019, and a daughter, born in May 2021. Tur is also the stepmother of two children from Dokoupil’s previous marriage.

Tur first announced her pregnancy during a January 25 broadcast of her show after Page Six broke the news just moments before she was going to reveal it herself. Jokingly, she said, “Leave it to Page Six to scoop my own announcement,” before officially announcing that she and Dokoupil were expecting their first child. Teddy was born in 2019.

Katy Tur, the MSNBC anchor, shared with PEOPLE magazine that she welcomed her second child, a daughter named Eloise Judy Bear Dokoupil, on May 13, 2021. The couple revealed that the labor took almost a day.

They mentioned, “After nearly 24 hours of labor, Eloise was born. She has strawberry blonde hair, weighs 6 pounds, and is usually quite vocal. She fits right into our family. Her big brother Teddy adores her and is excited to introduce her to their older siblings.”

Who Is Tony Dokoupil?

According to his bio on CBS, Tony Dokoupil co-hosts CBS This Morning with Gayle King and is a correspondent for CBS News. Dokoupil had worked for NBC News for three years before joining CBS in 2016.

Tony and his wife Katy Tur reside in Brooklyn and exchanged marital vows in 2017.
