Meet Jake Tapper’s Wife, Jennifer brown

Jennifer Marie Brown was born on May 11, 1977, in Minnesota, but she grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri. She is the daughter of Thomas H. Brown and Linda M. Brown, who used to be a customer service supervisor for Southwest Airlines. She maintains a low profile on social media. So very little information is available about her.

Jake And Jennifer Has Been Happily Married Since 2006

Jake Tapper met his wife, Jennifer Brown, at the Hotel Fort Des Moines in Iowa, where John Kerry was campaigning for the caucus. He was covering the event for Good Morning America at the time, and he talked his producer to stop by the hotel to party after Kerry was named the winner. 

Tapper told Dartmouth Alumni magazine about the night, saying, “It was the day of the caucuses, and all the big players had flown in, so I knew I couldn’t go on.” So I went out with my boss. “When John Kerry won, we said, ‘Let’s go to the Kerry campaign headquarters,’ because that’s where the party would be. And when I got to the Hotel Fort Des Moines, Jennifer was there,” he said. Tapper went on to say, “I saw her and walked up to her. The next day, we went out in D.C., and that was it.”

Jake and Jennifer got married on September 3, 2006, at a place called The Clubhouse in Baltimore, which used to be called the Kansas City Club. Brown told Home & Design magazine about the place, “We got married at President Truman’s old men’s club. History and politics made it feel like something from the East Coast.”Rabbi Laurie Hahn Tapper, who is married to Tapper’s brother, was in charge of the ceremony.

Jake Has Two Children

Alice and Jack Tapper are Tapper’s children. Alice wrote a picture book called “Raise Your Hand” when she was only 12 years old. The book encourages young girls to speak up and use their voices. Alice noticed that the girls in her class didn’t participate as much as the boys, so she and her Girl Scout troop made a patch that girls could get if they promised to be more confident in school.

Tapper gave an interview in 2019 in which he asked his children how he’s doing as a parent. His son gave Tapper some criticism, saying things like, “Your voice is too loud” and “I don’t like your angry eyebrow.”
