Jimmy Dykes used to coach college basketball in the United States and now works as a sportscaster for ESPN and the SEC Network. Dykes was an assistant basketball coach for men at the University of Arkansas, Appalachian State University, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and Oklahoma State University before he started working for ESPN for the first time.

Jimmy was also a scout for the Seattle SuperSonics of the NBA. Dykes was also the Director of Athletics at Springdale, Arkansas’s Shiloh Christian School. Also, on March 30, 2014, he was named head coach of the University of Arkansas women’s basketball team. He took over as head coach for the Arkansas women’s basketball team from Tom Collen. At the end of the 2013-2014 season, Collen was replaced by Jimmy.

Jimmy Dykes and Tiffany Beasley Dykes tied the knot on September 21, 2002. When they first met, Jimmy was a strength coach and she was a cheerleader. They have known each other for more than 37 years. They both got their degrees from the University of Arkansas. He was in the Class of 1985 and she was in the Class of 1998.

The fact that both spouses have athletic experience is another point of compatibility for this couple. Both Tiffany and her now-husband were former members of the Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team.

Jimmy posted pictures of his and his wife’s wedding on Twitter with the words, “I got married to my best friend 16 years ago. Even now, she is…”

In their respective fields, they are each other’s biggest fans and biggest supporters. On December 20, 2022, jimmy posted a video of her wife cheering on her daughters in cheerleading “I love my wife, and I love how hard she works and how passionately she coaches. She is an inspiring leader for many.”

Who Is Jimmy’s Wife?

Beasley teaches cheerleading at the Springdale Har-Ber High School. She took over for Jamie Bunting, who moved to Benton. She cheered for the UA for four years and was captain of the team for the last two.  Tiffany has run a cheer kids academy in Springdale and taught cheerleading at Shiloh Christian.

Jimmy’s wife was an assistant director for competitive dance at Springdale High School, Central Junior High, and Kickapoo High School in Springfield. Tiffany is the coach and cheerleader for her daughter’s 17-year-old team, Har-Ber Cheer. She has two dogs, whom she has called Rocket and Roo, and she is a huge animal lover.

Tiffany likes cooking. She shares her food recipes on her Facebook and Instagram pages. She posted photos of Emoji Brownie Bites that she and her daughter made for Williams Gymnastics overnight.

She posts pictures of her family and the cheerleaders she teaches on Instagram under the handle @tiffanybeasleydykes. She often posts pictures of her cheerleader daughter. She just put up a picture of herself hugging her daughter, which makes her feel proud. She wrote in the caption: “There is no one I’d rather have by my side through all the ups and downs of life. I’m very happy to be your mother.”
