Cody Longo who was known for his roles in movies and TV shows like “Days of Our Lives,” has died at 34.
Cody was an actor and musician who was born in the U.S. At the beginning of his career, he started out on stage. Later, he moved to Los Angeles to work in film and TV. He went to UCLA to study psychology and film.
Cody’s professional career began in 2009, and since then he has played many different roles in movies and on TV. He was a singer and songwriter whose song “She Said” and his first album both reached #3 on the Billboard Top 100 charts in 2014. A member of the family tells TMZ Cody’s body was found in bed at a house in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday. Longo’s wife, Stephanie, was working at a local dance studio. Cody Longo’s wife, Stephanie Nicole Clark, was married to him before he died. The couple reportedly started dating in 2014 and got married in 2015. They have a 7-year-old daughter and two sons who are 5 years and 12 months old, respectively. Clark is a dancer and choreographer from Virginia Beach, United States. She is 33 years old.
The actor from “The Days of Our Lives” was reportedly arrested previously for assaulting his wife. Cody was arrested in Clarksville, Tennessee, on November 7, 2020, after he allegedly got drunk and fought with his wife, Stephanie.
Police reports say that Cody got drunk and accused Stephanie of cheating on him when he got home. Their fight got worse and, supposedly, got physical. Cody is said to have pushed Stephanie’s face with his arm. Stephanie’s jaw and neck hurt, but there were no visible bruises. Authorities haven’t told the cause of his death. A family member who did not want to be named told TMZ that Longo had gone to rehab last summer and had been abusing alcohol for a long time. In several Facebook posts, the actor seemed to confirm this himself.
In a post from January 2021, he said, “I love my family more than I ever thought possible.” He also said that he was ready to “start over” after breaking a “long period of sobriety.”
A little more than a year later, in March 2022, he seemed to write about going through another hard time and promising to “do better.” He said that his “little family” was his top priority and that his goal was to “stay alive to walk my daughter down the aisle and hang out with my grandkids with my beautiful wife right next to me.”
