About Allegation Against Robert Sarver
According to a story that ESPN published on November 4, Sarver made a number of rude, racist, and s*xist comments during his 17 years as Suns owner. Earl Watson, the head coach of the Suns, told ESPN that Sarver allegedly said after a game against the Golden State Warriors, “You know, why does Draymond Green get to run up the court and say [N-word]?” he asked, using the n-word several times in a row.
In interviews with more than 70 former and current Suns employees, many of them said that being around Sarver made them feel uncomfortable.
ESPN said that in another alleged incident, Sarver showed his employees a picture of his wife in a bikini and talked about the times she had oral s*x with him. One Suns co-owner said about Sarver, “The level of misogyny and racism is beyond the pale.” “As an owner, it’s embarrassing.”
Sarver and his legal team have strongly denied all of the accusations that have been made against him.
