On social media over the weekend, NLE Choppa and his girlfriend Marissa Da’Nae told their fans some sad news.
Marissa posted a video to her YouTube channel on March 5 to tell her fans about how her pregnancy was going. In the sad video, Marissa said that she had a miscarriage, and Choppa was there to comfort her. The boy would be named Seven Da’Shun Potts, which is the last name of the rapper.
The rapper and herbalist said, “I think God puts you through hard times so you can have the strength to get through them.” “He wouldn’t give it to you if he thought there was something you couldn’t get past. I think this journey and this challenge were one of those things.”
“I really feel like it was meant to happen. I thought it was more than a sign from God,” he said. “What many people don’t realize is that children carry angels. Every kid. When you see kids playing with their “imaginary friends,” they are actually playing with angels and not their imaginations. Angels are in every child.”
NLE Choppa, whose real name was Bryson Potts, said that Seven had angels with him and was doing something important for them to see.

Choppa said, “Seven had angels attached to him, so he had to come to Earth to protect us.” “Seven had a purpose, and that purpose was to not be here physically but to bring something with him in spirit to watch over us and guide us on the path we are on. The spirit of Seven was brought here to make sure we are guided and safe.”
Sunday, Marissa also talked about her pregnancy and miscarriage on her Instagram page (March 6). She wrote in a long post:
“It’s so hard to talk about this. But having Bryson by my side and supporting me has helped me more. I couldn’t do anything because it hurts so much to lose our Son. But he helped me get through it, and I’m glad to have you by my side and on this journey with me. A lot of women have the same problems I do and go through the same things I do. So this also helps women open up and realize they’re not alone.”
Marissa also thanked her fans for their kind words and support as she continues to grieve for her son.
“Thank you for all the kind words, we really appreciate it,” she wrote. “Thank you, Seven, for making mom a better person, for pushing me to be healthier, and for giving me the strength to keep fighting. I love you, and I really do value the time we spent growing and becoming closer together. Really, you’ve given mom more hope. We love you, baby. Seven Da’Shun Potts. #Forever7.”
