Know About Patrick Wojahn’s Husband As He Is Arrested On Child Pornography

Patrick Wojahn, the mayor of College Park, has been arrested and charged with having and giving out child pornography by police in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Since then, the mayor has quit.

A news release says that on February 17, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children told Prince George’s County police about a social media account in the county that may have had and spread child pornography.

The age of Wojahn is 47. According to a statement from the Prince George’s County Police Department, he was charged with 56 counts of child pornography. These included 40 counts of possession of child exploitative material and 16 counts of distributing child exploitative material.

Wojahn frequently shares pictures of himself and Kolesar dining together and based on their posts, it seems they have a fondness for sampling different types of cuisine and regularly incorporate novel dishes into their dietary regime.

Although there are rumors suggesting that Wojahn is in a romantic relationship with Dave Kolesar, there is no solid evidence to support this claim. It is unclear whether they are dating or just good friends, so no assumptions should be made without more information.

Know About The Charges Of Child Pornography Led To The Arrest Of Patrick Wojahn

According to the charges, Wojahn used an anonymous account in early to mid-January to upload illegal content to the mobile messaging app Kik. Kik then told the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about what had happened.

Police were able to find Wojahn‘s account by asking internet service providers for records. On Feb. 28, police went to his house with a search warrant and took several cell phones, a storage device, a tablet, and a computer.

In a statement, the City of College Park said that Wojahn had sent a letter of resignation late Wednesday night, which would take effect right away. He had been the mayor of the city since 2015, and he had been on the council since 2007.

“I have fully cooperated with law enforcement and will continue to do so,” Wojahn wrote in the letter. “Even though this investigation has nothing to do with city business, it is best for our community if I step aside so I don’t become a distraction.”

The City of College Park said that the accusations against the now-former mayor “shocked and disturbed” them. “The city knows that this news is upsetting and hard for our community, and we encourage our residents to get any help they think they need to get through this hard time,” it said.

People in the area were surprised and embarrassed by the news. Drake Allen, a College Park resident, told WTOP’s Scott Gelman outside City Hall that he thought the accusations showed the city was going in the wrong direction.
