Peaky Blinders Season 6 Release Date, Cast, Trailer

Season 6 of Peaky Blinders has finally here.

Fans have been waiting for new episodes for nearly two years due to a pandemic-affected production schedule, but they finally arrived in February 2022 on BBC iPlayer, with a purportedly “dark as f**k” script ready to tie up the many loose ends left by season 5’s cliffhanger finale.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 will also mark the conclusion of showrunner Steven Knight’s famous BBC historical drama on television, while the story will be continued in a feature-length film “set and shot in Birmingham” to celebrate the end of the Blinders.

In preparation for the show’s TV conclusion, we’ve compiled a list of everything we know about Peaky Blinders season 6 – from its confirmed Netflix release date and new cast members to confirmed plot information.

After he and Tommy shot each other, gangster Alfie Solomons (Tom Hardy) was presumed dead, which is why his comeback at the end of the fifth series was so unexpected. After coming back from the dead, he’s still on board for season six.

Tommy’s most recent foe, Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin), returns in season 6 to cause further havoc.

Tommy’s first wife Grace was slain in the third season, but she reappeared in a vision last time out, and Annabelle Wallis hinted that her character might play a role in the finale.

At the end of the last series, Aunt Polly famously resigned from the Shelby company. Helen McCrory, who played Aunt Polly, died in April 2021 at the age of 52. In the series, there is a touching memorial to the main character.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 Plot

Tommy is still the British Union of Fascists’ Deputy Leader, but his botched murder attempt has put him in a bind. Tommy will face the ramifications of what has gone before in the last season, as well as a big threat from Michael Gray, who is seeking vengeance for reasons we won’t divulge here…

Steven Knight also hinted that the final season will be full of surprises. “Expect the unexpected,” he warned viewers. Tommy’s redemption is at stake; will he or will he not be redeemed?

“There are a lot of twists and turns, and he’s up against some formidable foes.” His greatest foe, however, is himself.”
