Know About Playboi Carti’s Girlfriend As He Was Arrested On Felony Charge

Jordan Terrell Carter is an American rapper who goes by the stage name Playboi Carti. Carter’s first record deal was with a local underground label called Awful Records. Later, he signed with ASAP Mob’s AWGE Label, which is part of Interscope Records. Early in his career, Carter gained a cult following. In 2017, he became known to a wider audience.

On Tuesday, Carti had been arrested in Georgia after he was accused of choking his pregnant girlfriend. The report said that, based on the woman’s arrest papers, Carti was accused of grabbing her by the throat and pushing her. The report said that at the time of the alleged incident, the woman said she was 14 weeks pregnant and had been “dating” Carti for two years.

Online jail records show that Carti was booked and released in December of last year. He was charged with aggravated assault and preventing someone from making an emergency phone call. Read on to know everything about his current girlfriend and previous relationships.

Carti’s Girlfriend Accused Him Of A Physical Attack

Carti’s Girlfriend told police that she was the one who brought up the paternity test with Carti. A witness is said to have tried to stop this conversation from turning into a “physical attack.”

Police said the woman told them she went to 3750 Tuxedo Road NW in Atlanta to talk to Playboi Carti, whose real name is Jordan Carter, about their baby and a paternity test because she was 14 weeks pregnant.

She said that Carter attacked her by grabbing her by the throat and pushing her into the bushes outside the house when they were talking. The person who was hurt said she couldn’t breathe and thought she was going to die.  She also told the police that two other men were at the house but did nothing to stop the fight.

The document said that another woman who saw the fight jumped in and tried to break it up, but Carter still had the victim by the neck. The woman was finally about to get away, so she got into her car. She said that Carter followed her there and attacked her again. She says that Carter tried to pull her out of the car and put his hand over her mouth while she was calling the police for help. In the affidavit, police said that the victim’s neck, chest, and back were all hurt.

Carter Was Also Charged In December 2022 With Aggravated Assault

Carter, who is from the Atlanta area, was previously arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault and keeping someone from making an emergency phone call. Carter got out of jail after paying a $100,000 bond.

Channel 2 Action News got in touch with Carter’s lawyer, Brian Steel, who said in a statement: “Mr. Carter was accused of something wrong. According to what I’ve been told by the Fulton County District Attorney’s office, this case will not be prosecuted or taken to court.

Know About Playboi Carti’s Previous Relationships

The identity of the rapper’s current girlfriend is unknown. But we know about his ex-girlfriend and fellow rapper Iggy Azalea. He has a son named Onyx Carter with her. On June 10, 2020, his birth was announced for the first time. Azalea said about the news on Instagram that she had been “waiting for the right time to say something.” She also said at the time that she wanted to keep his life private but make it clear that he was not a secret. Carti and Azalea broke up in October 2020 because people said they were cheating on each other.

Carti went out with model Brandi Marion while he was dating Iggy. When she and the rapper broke up, she said at first that she hadn’t met him until after his son was born. He was also said to be dating Blac Chyna in 2018. At the time, he tried to stop the rumors by calling her his “homie” and saying, “We ain’t that deep.”

In his song “Shawty in Love,” he also talked about Kylie Jenner’s old best friend Jordyn Woods. He went out with model Alexis Sky for a short time in 2017. Carti has also been linked to singer Justine Skye and rapper and model Rubi Rose.
