Danielle Riley Keough is a talented American actress. At age 20, Keough played Marie Currie in the musical biopic The Runaways (2010) as a supporting character.
Keough was born on May 29, 1989, in Santa Monica, California, at the Providence Saint John’s Health Center. She is the oldest child of singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, who has recently died from cardiac arrest, and musician Danny Keough.
The daughter of Lisa Marie is married to Ben Smith-Petersen. Riley Keough’s love story with stuntman Ben Smith-Petersen is a classic Hollywood fairy tale, as they first met on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road. Read on to know everything about Riley and Ben’s relationship and more you need to know.
In an interview with USA Today in 2016, Riley Keough talked about meeting her husband Ben Smith-Peterson for the first time on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road. She said that they met briefly in the desert, where the movie was shot for six months. “But we only began dating after we did a reshoot in Australia. Because there are fewer people on board and I got to meet him.”
Riley Keough also said that she knew Smith-Peterson was the one after only a few weeks. “Two weeks into dating him, we were at a gas station, and I told him, “I could see myself having kids with this person.” It was almost like I knew I was going to meet my future husband. It was awesome.”

The actress said that meeting her husband was “very” normal. She said that even though they are in love and crazy about each other, she thinks their relationship is a lot more than that. “I always felt at ease when I was with him. When you first start dating someone, do you ever feel weird, like you don’t want to eat in front of them or wake up and put on make-up? I just always felt very comfortable around him and wanted to be close to him from the start.”
After Riley and Ben’s first meeting on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road in 2012, they didn’t start dating until 2014. They announced their engagement on Facebook in August, with Ben sharing a photo of Riley showing off her engagement ring and captioning it with “So that happened.”
Riley and Ben got hitched in a beautiful and intimate ceremony at a vineyard in Napa Valley, California in February 2015. They had a small, private wedding with close family and friends present.
