Later, in 1980, he moved to Branson where he met his second wife, Dorothy Lingo, who attended his shows. He became a stepfather to her two kids from her previous marriage. Lingo helped with many parts of The Shoji Tabuchi Show, like dance moves, costumes, and theater design.
