When superstar DJ Tom Zanetti and Made-in Chelsea “Duchess” (not a real Duchess) Sophie Hermann met and fell in love with Celeb’s Go Dating in Spring 2021, they reminded us a lot of Millie Mackintosh and Pro Green. The show was filmed in a £30 million mansion in the English countryside.
But even though they hit it off on screen when they both failed to connect with the public (surprise! ), and even though Tom made some cameos on Sophie‘s home turf in Chelsea, the relationship didn’t last, and a few months later, they broke up.
Tom confirmed that they were no longer together by saying, “Yes, we have gone our separate ways.” I hope the best for the duchess, though.
He told new! magazine, “We had a great time getting to know each other and made memories that will last a lifetime, but our lives are so different and we’re so busy that we just couldn’t commit.”
Sophie also cried about their breakup on Made in Chelsea.
Sophie Hermann And Tom Zanetti Relationship Timeline
The most popular dating show on E4 might not have the best track record when it comes to matching celebrities with regular people, but when it comes to pairing celebrities with other celebrities, they do much better. Sophie and Tom didn’t seem like they would end up together, but rumors started going around about them when they started filming the covid-safe Mansion series in January.
At the end of the series, Tom and Sophie were a real couple, even though they had both dated people who weren’t a good match. Dating coach Anna Williamson told Closer online, “It’s not something we endorse, but every series we do there tends to be celebrities with wandering eyes.” They become very close, almost like a family. We don’t encourage this, but it does happen, and Paul and I are there to see who might have a connection with someone else.
After filming was over and they went back into the real world, Tom and Sophie were criticized when they both posted photos and videos on social media of each other on what looked like Valentine’s Day date. At the height of the UK lockdown, when Sophie was in Chelsea and Tom was in Manchester, it didn’t go over too well with fans.
Their mistake on Valentine’s Day was quickly forgotten, and it wasn’t long before Sophie confirmed they were dating during a Q&A with another CGD sign-up, Chloe Ferry. I love seeing you and Tom together, it’s so nice to see and very cute. Can I be a maid of honor? Chloe asked excitedly, “Will there be cake?” She added, “I’m never invited to weddings because I get too drunk and ruin the party.” Sophie agreed, “Aren’t we cute?” If we get married, you will be the first bridesmaid. My worry is that you’ll get too drunk before anything gets going.”
A few short weeks later, Tom was telling Closer everything he could about his new girlfriend. “Everything fit together so well. The first day we met, but I had no idea that she liked me “he said. “I have never watched Made in Chelsea, so I thought, “Wow, who is that?” I didn’t recognize her. Behind the scenes, you didn’t see that we talked a lot, and that was true from the beginning.”
In April, the unthinkable happened: Tom, a famous DJ, made his first appearance on Made in Chelsea as Sophie’s boyfriend. She did this by introducing him to her best guy friend Fred. He said this on the Access All Areas podcast from FUBAR Radio: “I wasn’t sure what to think. But I kind of thought that the cameras would follow you around and do other things like that. I didn’t realize it would be, you know, like settings, like set up in a way,”
In June, Sophie and Tom stopped following each other on social media, and Tom said, “Yes, we’ve gone our separate ways. I hope the best for the duchess, though.” We had a great time getting to know each other and made memories that will last a lifetime, but our lives are so different and we’re both so busy that we couldn’t commit. But just a few days later, Tom was linked to Instagram model Chloe Saxon after photos and videos of them looking cozy on a night out were posted online.
