According to a statement posted on Facebook by the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, the prominent football player was injured when he fell and banged his head.

Webb could not be brought back to life by the emergency medical personnel who went to the site in Triangle Lake, Oregon.

The findings of the investigation indicate that “there is no indication of foul play and it appears that his death was an accident.”

Kay has not yet released a statement regarding the death of her partner.
