After 10 seasons with the Houston Texans and two with the Arizona Cardinals, the legendary defensive end plans to call it quits. TJ Watt, his brother, was one of many football fans who responded to the news. Watt has taken the place of his older brother as one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. When he heard that his brother was retiring, the current Defensive Player of the Year posted a simple gif of Michael Scott crying. He also wrote in an Instagram story, “Walking away from the game on top! Enjoy retirement Broski!!”

If you are unfamiliar, TJ Watt is an outside linebacker for the National Football League team Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football at Wisconsin, and in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Steelers picked him up. J. J. Watt, who plays for the Arizona Cardinals, and Derek Watt, who plays for the Steelers, are his older brothers. And he is now a married man. Meet TJ Watt’s Wife, Dani Rhodes

Dani Rhodes grew up in the Wisconsin city of Waukesha, where she went to high school at Waukesha West. She was on the prom court at her school and also played basketball and soccer. She got a degree in life sciences communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in December 2020.

Rhodes was a student-athlete who played soccer for the school. She was named the 2019 Big Ten Forward of the Year and was named to the 2019 All-America Second Team. Rhodes was also named an Academic All-Big Ten player three times. Rhodes played for the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women’s Soccer League for one season in 2020. She signed with Thróttur Reykjavk, a professional team in Iceland, the following year. During the time she lived in Iceland, she posted pictures of herself exploring the country, as well as pictures of when her family came to see her. “Home on the move! Watt And Rhodes Together From Six Years

TJ Watt and his girlfriend Dani Rhodes got married this summer after being together for six years. They met in college at the University of Wisconsin, where they both did well in sports. Watt went on to play in the NFL for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as everyone knows. But at college, Dani, who is now his wife, played basketball and soccer.

She is now a professional soccer player. She used to play for Chicago Red Stars and is now in Iceland.  Last year, Dani told TJ that she was going to marry him. And in July, they had a beautiful wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She wrote on the day: “When I was a little girl, I never thought I’d find someone special enough to change my last name. But I found him and I couldn’t be happier to share a name with the man of my dreams.” Watt and his wife and brothers have been living out a dream in sports. When Pittsburgh picked him in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft, he joined JJ Watt and Derek Watt in the NFL.

When a pectoral injury put the Steelers star on injured reserve, his wife Dani was with him the whole time. She posted a video of Watt in action on Instagram with the caption “You amaze me.”
