Despite being more than pleased’ with his partner, Louise Davies, James Martin has confessed that he has no desire to overspend on a wedding.

‘It doesn’t interest me in the least, largely because I’ve served for so many weddings, actually,’ the 46-year-old chef, who hosted BBC’s Saturday Kitchen until 2016 but now presents Saturday Morning with James Martin for ITV, told the Sunday People magazine.

Martin, who has been with his PA girlfriend Louise for seven years, also admitted that he isn’t interested in having children: ‘I go round to my mate’s house, who has four kids, and realize after about two minutes that I don’t want them.’

‘I love kids, but it’s simply not for me.’ You put so much effort into this work, the job, and everything else. Never, ever.’

In 2011, James met Louise while filming Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Ralph and Cooper, the couple’s dogs, reside with them in Hampshire.

When it comes to his personal life, James Martin likes to remain anonymous. The renowned chef and TV host has been in a long-term relationship with Louise Davies since 2011 but has no intentions to propose or create a family.

The star of Chefs’ Burnt Bits revealed that he prefers to spend his money on hobbies and interests, such as his automobile collection, which includes a Chevrolet Corvette, a Lotus 340R, a 1948 Maserati, and two retired Formula One cars.

While the chef didn’t win the competition, he did grab the TV producer’s attention, and the two have been dating since 2011. James rarely speaks about his girlfriend in public or posts images of her on social media, and the couple keeps a low profile.

James said that he is reducing his workload. After witnessing a guy fall to his death, he chose to leave his presenting post on Saturday Kitchen in 2017.
