The co-stars of “Breathe,” who were recently inducted into the EGOT, Jennifer Hudson and Grammy Award–winning musician and actor Common, have fuelled rumors of a possible new Hollywood coupling after being seen out together on a romantic dinner date in Philadelphia.

It’s been a few months since Common and Tiffany Haddish called it quits on their relationship, but now there are rumors that the rapper is dating Jennifer Hudson.

An exclusive revelation published by Radar Online has given rise to the rumors that Common and Jennifer are more than just co-stars in the upcoming film Breathe that they are both a part of.

It has been reported that observers at the Vedge restaurant witnessed the rumored couple engaging in behavior that may be described as “cozy and flirty” with one another.

Even though neither of them has commented on the reports, a third party who dined a few tables away from them supposedly told Deuxmoi over a direct message that there was “a lot of snuggling and giggling,” as reported by Radar Online. Neither of them has commented on the rumors.

Many fans seem to have been shocked by the claims that Jennifer and Common were dating.

Jennifer Hudson And Common’s Past Relationships

In Hollywood, Common has a long history of relationships. The rapper/actor has reportedly had relationships with a number of A-list celebrities, including Taraji P. Henson, Erykah Badu, Serena Williams, and Angela Rye. Before calling it quits last year, he was most recently associated with Tiffany Haddish. Following their encounter on the set of the movie The Kitchen, the ex-couple revealed their relationship in August 2020. Prior to deciding to go on a date, the comic said she had rejected Common’s approaches.

The reasons for their breakup appeared to be different for the two. According to Common, their hectic schedules were to blame for the breakup. But the “Girls Trip” actress stepped up and didn’t like what Common said.

On the other hand, Jennifer Hudson has led a far more sedate love life. Since divorcing her ex-husband David Otunga, the EGOT winner hasn’t engaged in a committed public romance. Previously, the couple was wed from 2008 to 2017. They ultimately reached a custody and child support agreement in 2019 after the divorce had gone on for years. They reportedly worked on each clause in the agreement for more than seven hours in private. David Daniel Otunga Jr., the 12-year-old son of the former couple, is their only child.
