Stephen “tWitch” Boss, a well-known DJ on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show, has died.
Stephen Boss, who was known as DJ tWitch, was married to his longtime love Allison Holker before his death at age 40. The dancer said she would “really miss” her husband and will “save the last dance” for him.
The former Ellen DeGeneres Show star died at a hotel or motel on Tuesday, December 13, In Touch and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-online Coroner’s records confirmed.
“Stephen lit up every room he walked into,” Holker said in a statement to People on December 13. “He valued family, friends, and community more than anything else, and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the strong backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.

Boss has gotten married Allison Holker before his untimely death in December of 2022. Holker, a native Minnesotan, is well-known for her work as a dancer, choreographer, and actress. Holker, like Boss, was on So You Think You Can Dance as a contestant in season 2 and as an all-star in seasons 7 to 11.
Holker’s acting career features appearances in films like High School Musical (2006) and High School Musical 2 (2007) as well as the cult classic Footloose (1984). She currently hosts two shows, one on Disney+ called Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and another on HGTV called Design Star: Next Gen.

Boss and Holker got married in 2013 and have since had two children. In 2016, they had a son, Maddox, and in 2019, they had a daughter, Zaia. Boss was also a proud stepdad to Weslie Fowler, Allison’s teen daughter from a previous relationship. Recently, Boss and Holker completed their 9 years of togetherness.
Holker said that Boss’s “positive impact” will continue because of the huge “legacy” he left behind. “I’m sure we won’t let a day go by without honoring his memory,” she said. “We ask for privacy during this hard time for myself and especially for our three children… We love and miss you, Stephen, and I will always save the last dance for you.”

Law enforcement sources tell us that Stephen’s wife, Allison Holker, ran into an LAPD station Tuesday in a panic because Stephen had left the house without his car, which was not like him at all.
We’re told that a short time later, around 11:15 AM, paramedics got a call about a medical emergency at an L.A. hotel, where they found Stephen dead from what seemed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, tWitch has a net worth of $5 million, and he had a salary of $1 million. After making a name for himself on “Star Search,” where he came in second place in the dance category, Boss went on to participate in “The Wade Robson Project” (2003) on MTV and on multiple seasons of “So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox.
