Adrian “Red” Christopher Autry used to play basketball in the United States and is now the head coach of the Syracuse men’s basketball team. Autry was the point guard for the Orange from 1990 to 1994. He is currently fifth all-time in assists (631) and sixth all-time in steals (217).
Autry played professionally from 1995 to 2005, after he left Syracuse. After 10 years, Autry quit playing and moved back to the United States to become a coach. He has worked with the Syracuse men’s basketball team for a long time and now became the head coach for the next season.
Now that he’s Syracuse’s new head coach, everyone wants to know personal details of his life, particularly his wife and his previous professional accomplishments. This article will go into depth on both his personal life and coaching profession.
Adrian Autry is married to his love Andrea Reid. He met Andrea at a party in Miami where he was with his close friend and former teammate from Syracuse, Conrad McRae. The woman who became Autry’s wife went to Georgetown and worked at USA Today and ESPN Magazine. She said she liked his sense of humor and sense of adventure. They both liked going places.
Andrea Autry, who is now the head of marketing, communications, and development at Elmcrest Children’s Center, said, “We talked a lot.” “He was a good guy. Straight to the point. Everything he said was very true. So, I also liked that. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t figure out what he meant. He is himself.”
Autry lives in Jamesville with his wife, Andrea, and their two children, a son named Trey and a daughter named Nina. They also have a daughter, Aliyah, and a son, Adrian Jr., who both went to Syracuse and got their degrees there.
