Know About Brett Kavanaugh’s Wife: His Documentary Sparks New Tips After Sundance Premiere

Brett Michael Kavanaugh is an American lawyer and judge who works on the Supreme Court of the United States as an associate justice. President Trump chose him on July 9, 2018, and he has been in office since October 6, 2018. He used to be a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Before that, he worked as a lawyer for the federal government of the United States in different offices.

After a surprise documentary, ‘Justice’ about sexual assault allegations against the controversial Supreme Court justice debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, people are making new claims about him. Christine Blasey Ford was interviewed for the documentary. She told Congress that Kavanaugh tried to attack her when they were in high school in the 1980s. Other women have also come forward with new claims about him from when he was at Yale.

Justice came out at Sundance on January 20, and Kavanaugh’s team hasn’t said anything about what it’s about. However, he has always denied sexual misconduct. After Brett graduated from Yale Law School in 1990, he met Ashley Estes, who had been George W. Bush’s personal secretary. The Washington Post says that she is now a town manager in the suburbs of Washington, D.C.

In 2003, Bush hired Kavanaugh as a White House staff secretary. The next year, Estes and Kavanaugh got married in Washington, D.C., and Bush and Laura Bush were there. The couple who had just gotten married kept making progress in their political careers. Brett became a judge on the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia in 2006.

Then, in 2018, Kavanaugh was put forward as a candidate for the Supreme Court. Soon after, when Christine Blasey Ford’s claims of sexual misconduct were first made public, Ashley stood by her husband.

According to the source, during an interview with Fox News host Martha MacCallum, Brett and Christine Kavanaugh sat next to each other and denied that Brett had done anything sexually inappropriate. When asked if she thought Brett was innocent, Ashley said she was sure her husband had been wrongly accused.

Brett Kavanaugh Has Two kids

Brett and Ashley Kavanaugh are still together and raising their daughters, Margaret (14) and Liza (exact age unknown). At Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court swearing-in ceremony, where both of his daughters were present, then-President Donald Trump apologized to the family for the accusations.

He said, “On behalf of our country, I want to apologize to Brett and the whole Kavanaugh family for all the terrible pain and suffering you have had to go through.”

Even though Congress and the Kavanaugh family don’t seem to believe the accusations, the people who made Justice hope it will get people talking again. Amy Herdy, one of the film’s producers, said that she wants the new details to show more about Kavanaugh’s past.
