The ” Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach” Season 3 is out today. It is aired on Disney+ Hotstar.
Pankaj Tripathi reprises his role as the witty attorney Madhav Mishra. It is appropriate that he stars in Criminal Justice, which is currently in its third season, because he elevates it. From the inevitable stretches a series can experience when trying to fit 40 or so minutes into an episode, as well as from the sporadic clunkiness and staginess.
However, the series, which was created by Applause Entertainment and BBC Studios and was directed by Rohan Sippy, continued to hold viewers’ attention. I was kept interested by the horrifying killing of a little child, the teenage boy on trial for the crime, the intricate modern-day permutations of nuclear families, the intercutting between courtroom and police procedures, and Mishra Ji’s unflinching good humour.
Adhura Sach thinks that the show should become a standard murder mystery after two excellent seasons that discussed the complexities of India’s criminal justice system and ideas of guilt. This time, the plot centres on the murder of well-known young actress Zara Ahuja, with all the evidence pointing to her young stepbrother Mukul.

However, Mukul’s mother (Swastika Mukherjee) isn’t persuaded and seeks assistance from lawyer Madhav Mishra (Pankaj Tripathi). The central conflict of the narrative is how Pankaj solves the puzzle and overcomes the obstacle posed by a new public prosecutor (Shweta Basu Prasad).
Recently, lead actor Pankaj Tripathi sat down with Telegraph India to talk about everything regarding criminal justice. The actor, who is a fan favourite, would talk about how “there is still comfort” in playing the same part a third time in the interview.
As Criminal justice’s Episode 1 and 2 are aired. So here we have ratings given by various sources:
Unfortunately, reviews for Criminal Justice’s third season have been fairly unfavourable.
The third season received a 3/5 rating from The Times of India, who praised the actors overall and Pankaj Tripathi in particular, but faulted the tempo and primary plot.
The third season of the show was reviewed more favorably in The Indian Express, which stated that it “remained fascinating enough for me to binge-watch.”
As Pinkvilla noted, the director “does not squander time but pushes the viewer into the plot immediately from the start.”

Intriguingly, FirstPost said that the lead actor, “Tripathi, may have outgrown the part, wasting his or her potential”.
The actors in this programme are a winner, and one can never get enough of Madhav Mishra’s life lessons and antics, according to LeisureByte, who also observes that season 3 “underperforms given how it impressed with its first two seasons.”
