He joined James Worthy and Michael Jordan as the only players from UNC to win both an NCAA and an NBA championship.

Blair was born to Steve and Janet Bashen on February 7, 1989  Her mother, Janet, is a well-known investor and businesswoman who was also named by Ebony as one of the 100 most influential African-Americans.  Also, her grandmother was the first black nurse in segregated Huntsville, Alabama, in the 1950s.

Blair comes from a well-educated family where men and women are treated the same and given chances. The way she was raised made her humble and quiet. She went to St. Johns High School and played basketball there. Blair was also the captain of her high school basketball team.

He thanked Blair for coming into his life and apologized for proposing to her late because he was saving money to buy her an expensive diamond ring that she wanted.

Bashen said “yes,” and the two will get married at The Post Oak Hotel in Uptown Houston on August 14, 2021. The Winter 2022 issue of Inside Weddings magazine featured Green and Bashen on the cover. When asked about being on the cover of the magazine, Bashen said, “I’m thrilled to have our wedding featured in Inside Weddings and to be on the cover. It was one of the most magical times of our lives.
