30-year-old Eunice Dwumfour was a member of the Sayreville Borough Council from 2022 to 2024. Dwumfour was shot and killed outside her Sayreville home on Wednesday. Dwumfour, 30, was found dead in her white Nissan at the Camelot at La Mer apartments on Wednesday night.

According to her LinkedIn page, she has also held the positions of director of churches at the Champions Royal Assembly in Nigeria and professional scrum master and business analyst at Fire Congress Fellowship Inc.

A news release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office states that at around 7:30 p.m. on February 1, she was discovered with several gunshot wounds inside her automobile in the Parlin neighborhood of the borough. They stated she was pronounced dead there and then. Her family, friends, and colleagues remember her as a successful new wife and mother who always put others first. Know About The Tragic News Of The Fatal Gunshot And Her Passing

When Eunice slammed into two parked cars, including a witness’ Lexus, she was forced to stop. Witness: “It took me a second before I realized there was a dead body behind the wheel,” The Post said on Thursday.

The driver’s door was riddled with gunshot holes, whereas the passenger door only had one. Another set of neighbors reported seeing a person wearing a mask flee the area. The suspect may have used the Garden State Parkway to escape, according to locals. On Thursday afternoon, over 20 Sayreville police officers were observed searching the side of the GSP exit leading to the Jon Bon Jovi Service Area.

Police at the scene told The Post that Dwumfour was seen on camera chatting with the shooter in the seconds before she was killed, even though no suspects have been named. On Thursday, at least two dozen people attended a funeral for Dwumfour at the home of his parents in Newark. Grieving family and friends’ screams reverberated off the walls as they tried to come to terms with the tragedy.
