Gregory Walter Olsen is an American football commentator and former tight end who was born on March 11, 1985. He played in the National Football League for 14 seasons. He played college football at the University of Miami. In the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears picked him. Olsen also played for the Carolina Panthers, where he made three Pro Bowls and became the first tight end in NFL history to have three consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards. In 2020, Olsen finished his last season with the Seattle Seahawks.
Olsen said he was retiring on January 24, 2021, and that he would become a full-time broadcaster for Fox Sports.
