According to court documents obtained by The Times, Nunes filed for divorce in Los Angeles citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, with the separation date listed as Jan. 2, 2023.

Krupa, who gained fame on the reality TV series, tied the knot with Nunes in the summer of 2018. The couple welcomed a daughter, Asha-Leigh Presley Nunes, in November 2019. However, after just a few years of marriage, it seems the pair have decided to go their separate ways.

Joanna Krupa And Her Husband Douglas Nunes Announced Their Separation

On Monday, Joanna Krupa took to Instagram to announce her split from husband Douglas Nunes, and shared a photo of their family of three along with a caption confirming the news.

She wrote, “My husband and I have made a joint decision to get separated. We have a private agreement between us that is our business and we are moving forward as friends and still live daily as a family for our daughter whom we both place before ourselves. For the sake of my family, I will not comment further on this only to say each of us is committed to assuring the other’s happiness so we can be the best parents possible as we move forward.”

According to court filings in Los Angeles County, Douglas Nunes is requesting to prevent the court from awarding any spousal support to Joanna Krupa as part of their divorce. Additionally, Nunes is requesting the court to divide their assets and decide on the distribution of their belongings. However, it is not clear from the court documents whether the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place.

Who Is Douglas Nunes, Joanna Krupa’s Husband?

As per his LinkedIn profile, Douglas Nunes is the CEO and founding partner of 451 Media Group, where he has been working for almost nine years alongside co-founders Michael Bay, John, and Anthony Gentile. Nunes has more than two decades of experience in executive management across several industries, including entertainment, digital media, and financial services, according to his bio.

Joanna Krupa and Douglas Nunes exchanged wedding vows in Krakow, Poland, in 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Asha-Leigh Nunes, in 2019, with Krupa sharing the news on Instagram along with a photo of her positive pregnancy test.

However, as per TMZ, Nunes is allegedly seeking joint physical and legal custody of their daughter in the divorce proceedings. This would be Krupa’s second unsuccessful marriage, having previously been married to businessman Romain Zago from 2013 to 2017.
