Safdar posted an Instagram story while confirming his divorce. He wrote, “News about my divorce is true. This is an entirely private matter and I request the media to respect our privacy. I hope with this decision we find our peace In Shaa Allah. I will speak no further on this matter. I wish her well.” Afterward, Junaid Safdar deleted all the pictures of his ex-wife from his Instagram account.

In August 2021, Muhammad Junaid Safdar and Ayesha had a lavish wedding. Their Nikkah was later followed by extravagant wedding celebrations held in Islamabad in December of the same year.
The nikkah ceremony occurred at the luxurious Lanesborough hotel situated on Hyde Park Corner in Knightsbridge. This special event saw the presence of Safdar’s grandfather, his uncle Hussain Nawaz, party member and former finance minister Ishaq Dar, along with other attendees.
Unfortunately, the groom’s parents, Maryam Nawaz and Muhammad Safdar, were unable to physically attend the wedding due to their names being on the Exit Control List. Maryam Nawaz had conveyed her anticipated absence through a tweet earlier in the month. Nevertheless, they joined the ceremony through a video call, and Maryam Nawaz even shared pictures from the event on her Twitter account while extending her blessings to the newlyweds.
Ayesha, the former wife of Junaid Safdar, has an impressive background. She is the daughter of Saif ur Rehman Khan, who previously led the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and is involved in various business ventures spanning Pakistan, Qatar, and Middle Eastern countries.
Ayesha’s early years were spent in Qatar, where she received her primary and secondary education in British schools. She demonstrated excellence in her O and A levels. Subsequently, she pursued higher education at the prestigious University College London (UCL) and obtained a BEng in Civil Engineering.
