Martina Navratilova, a famous tennis player from Wimbledon who is 66 years old, said on Monday that she has been diagnosed with stage one throat and breast cancer. This is almost 13 years after the last time she had cancer and beat it.
Shortly before her diagnosis was made public, Martina’s 50-year-old model wife Julia Lemigova went on Instagram to talk about the “ups and downs” of the past year and her hopes for 2023. People on Instagram responded to her post and started searching for Martina. In this article, we’ll talk about her personal life, including her life partner Julia Lemigova.
Julia Lemigova got married to Martina in 2015, after nine years of dating. They first met in a gay bar in Paris. After becoming a US citizen, Martina gave an interview in 1981 in which she said she was lesbian.
Before she got married, she reportedly had tough relationships with her ex-girlfriends Toni Layton and former Miss Texas Judy Nelson. She asked her girlfriend Julia Lemigova to marry her in 2014 at the US Tennis Open. They are the first same-sex couple to appear as full-time cast members on the Real Housewives franchise since it started in 2006.
Julia Lemigova, the wife of Martina Navratilova who was Miss USSR in 1990, was born on June 26, 1972. She is part of the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami, which airs on Bravo. Lemigova is the daughter of a colonel in the Red Army.
Lemigova was first runner-up at Miss USSR in 1990. She became Miss USSR after the original winner, Maria Kezha, was disqualified for being too young. Lemigova represented the Soviet Union at the Miss Universe pageant in 1991, where she came in second place.

People magazine reported on Monday (2 January) that Navratilova, 66, has been diagnosed with two different types of cancer. A representative for the former athlete said that Navratilova went to the doctor for a swollen lymph node in her neck, which turned out to be cancerous. At the same time, a lump was found in her breast, which was also cancerous.
The person who spoke to PEOPLE said, “The cancer is HPV, and this type responds really well to treatment.” They also said that both cancers are in “early stages.” Navratilova also told The Sunday Times what she thought about the dual diagnosis. She said, “This double whammy is bad, but it can still be fixed.” “I’m hoping that things will work out well. It will stink for a while, but I will fight with everything I have.”
