Poppy Harlow is an American journalist best known for her work at CNN and Forbes.com. She is an anchor for CNN This Morning and is based at CNN’s New York news bureau. Harlow got a Master of Studies in Law (M.S.L.) from Yale Law School in 2022.

She used to be a business correspondent for CNN, CNN International, and HLN, an anchor for CNNMoney.com, and an anchor, reporter, and producer for the Forbes.com Video Network. She is also a fill-in host for CNN’s New Day early-morning news show on weekdays.

On his resume, Babcic lists time spent working for RBC Wealth Management, Thomson Reuters, and Temenos. He became a management consultant at Ernst & Young in 2013, according to his LinkedIn account.

Babcic was appointed a partner in October 2020. On Ernst & Young’s website, Babcic’s profile says that he is the “Wealth Management Business Consulting Leader for the EY US Wealth Management Consulting business” and that he focuses on “strategy, business transformation, and innovation.”

Harlow and Babcic have two kids, and each one’s birth has its own interesting story. Harlow was expecting their first child at the end of December 2015. Harlow was in the air when she got too hot and passed out. She was due in a few more months. She was fine before the incident, but when a slide of a new political poll came up in front of her, her words became slurred and she stopped talking.

A few minutes later, Harlow came back on and told her viewers that she was fine. She was taken to the hospital, though, just to be safe. After that, she tweeted to her followers, “Update from the hospital: our baby girl due this spring is doing great.”

In February 2018, the couple had their second child, a boy they named Luca James.

Poppy and Sinisa told me that they named their son Luca to honor Babcic’s roots in eastern Europe. In a joint statement, they said, “Luca is a huge blessing for our family.”

They said, “Being a parent has been the best thing in the world, and we’re so happy that our family is growing!”
