Robert Irwin Dating Heath Ledger’s Niece Scarlett Buckley

The 18-year-old son of the late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin seems to be dating a relative of another sad Australian hero. Earlier this month, Irwin and Heath Ledger’s niece Scarlett Buckley, who is also 18, were photographed taking a stroll together in Queensland, Australia, at dusk, sparking rumors of a budding romance.

The young couple is all smiles in the photos published by New Idea magazine as they take a stroll at sunset. The article states that as the sun was setting, Robert hugged Scarlett.

Irwin was seen embracing the niece of “The Dark Knight” star before the teens were spotted eating burgers and fries at a nearby restaurant and returning to the beach.

Some of Robert Irwin’s admirers may be disappointed to hear that he has been photographed on a date with a mystery woman. Irwin is the son of the late Steve Irwin and the brother of Bindi, who is also quite famous.

Irwin openly follows Buckley’s private Instagram account, even though neither has discussed their blossoming affair in public.

Perth-based Scarlett is the daughter of Heath Ledger’s sister, Kate, who owns a design and media productions company, and Nathan Buckley, who owns a floor coverings store.

She has a twin sister named Rorie, and in the past, she has been seen supporting the Heath Ledger Scholarship for new Australian talent.

Kate Ledger, who owns a design and media production company, has promised to keep her brother’s name alive by giving young Australian actors the “Heath Ledger Scholarship.”

In January 2008, when Ledger was at the top of his Hollywood career, he was found dead from an overdose of prescription drugs.

Robert’s latest date comes just a week after rumors that he liked Lucia Field, the new Blue Wiggle and daughter of the original Wiggle, Anthony Field.

They met at Australia Zoo on Steve Irwin Day, and a source told New Idea that there were sparks.

The source said, “Lucia and Robert got along like a house on fire.” A lot of people thought Robert liked Blue Wiggle, Lucia Field. “You could tell he liked her, he was totally blushing when she asked him for a photo.” The source said, “Everyone thought he might ask her out.”

And since Lucia’s dad showed the picture of the teens together, it seemed like Robert had already won over any future in-laws.
