Keith Rupert Murdoch is an American business magnate who was born in Australia. Rupert Murdoch Has Been Married Four Times

Patricia Booker (1956-1967)

Patricia Booker, who was from Melbourne and worked as a flight attendant and model for a department store, was Rupert Murdoch’s first wife. When he was 25 and she was 20, they got married in Australia. They were married for 11 years and had one child, Prudence, who runs a newspaper. They split up in 1967 after being married for 11 years.

Anna Torv (1967-1999)

After a year, Murdoch married Anna Torv, a former newspaper reporter from Glasgow as per reports. They met when Torv was working for Murdoch’s Daily Mirror newspaper in Sydney and had the chance to interview him. In 1999, after 32 years of marriage, the media mogul split up with Torv. Elisabeth, Lachlan, and James are their three kids.

Torv once said that her husband was a “very good and moral person” whose ownership of the Sun newspaper was often misunderstood. From 1990 until they broke up, she was on the main board of News Corp. 

Wendi Deng (1999-1913)

Wendi Deng, a businesswoman who was born in China, was married to Murdoch for 14 years. They met at a company party in Hong Kong in 1997, when Deng, who was more than 30 years younger than him, was working as an intern at a News Corp-owned TV station. 

Two years later, the couple got married in New York Harbor on Murdoch’s yacht, the Morning Glory, which was decorated with flowers and garlands. They split up in 2014, and they have two kids, Grace and Chloe.

Murdoch said that the marriage had been broken for good for more than six months and couldn’t be fixed. Deng, who was born in China and went to Yale, was said to have changed her partner for the better by introducing him to a group of younger, more tech-savvy friends. Jerry Hall (2016-2022)

In 2016, Murdoch married Jerry Hall at St Bride’s church in London. They had met the year before. A week before Murdoch’s 85th birthday, the ceremony took place. Bob Geldof, Sir Michael Caine, and Rebekah Brooks, who is in charge of Murdoch’s newspaper company News UK, were among the guests.

It happened after he dated the former supermodel for five months. Murdoch’s engagement to former model Jerry Hall was announced in The Times on January 11, 2016. On March 4, 2016, Murdoch, who was about to turn 85, and Hall, who was 59, got married in London. The ceremony was at St. Bride’s, Fleet Street, and the reception was at Spencer House. This is Murdoch’s fourth marriage.

The New York Times said, based on two anonymous sources, that Murdoch and Hall were going to get a divorce in June 2022. Hall filed for divorce on July 1, 2022, saying that he and his wife couldn’t get along. The divorce was finalized in August of that year.

Jerry had been with Rolling Stones lead singer Sir Mick Jagger for more than 20 years. After a bitter high court battle, Hall’s wedding to Jagger in Bali in 1992 was ruled to be illegal. Hall and Jagger have four children.
