Colombian singer Shakira has once again made headlines for her comments regarding her ex-partner Gerard Piqué’s current girlfriend, Clara Chia Martí.
While continuing to openly criticize her former partner Gerard Piqué and his current girlfriend, Clara Chia Martí, Shakira recently made a statement suggesting that women who do not support one another will find a “place in hell.”
The singer’s remarks have attracted significant attention, with many speculating about the reasons behind her ongoing public feud with Piqué and Martí. This article will explore Shakira’s recent statement and provide background information on the ongoing tension between Shakira and her ex-partner and his new girlfriend.
Gerard Pique has been linked to Marti since their appearance together at a music festival in August 2022. This news broke just a few months after Piqué’s announcement of his separation from his former partner, Shakira, with whom he was in a relationship for more than 11 years.
While the start of Piqué and Marti‘s relationship remains unknown, the couple has been privately dating for several months since their initial sighting in public. They have mostly kept to themselves and have only been seen together publicly on a few occasions. However, despite their attempts to keep a low profile, their relationship received attention in the media after Shakira appeared to make references to them in two songs, namely “BZRP Music Session #53” and “TQG.”

At the end of January 2023, Piqué publicly acknowledged their relationship by posting their first-ever selfie together on Instagram, thereby generating more interest from the public and media outlets.
In a new interview, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer said she used to believe “the story that a woman needed a man to be complete,” but now she knows she can be “self-sufficient.”
Shakira, who is 46 years old, told Enrique Acevedo of Canal Estrellas on Monday, “There is a place in hell for women who don’t support other women.” “I’ve always been very emotionally dependent on the men I’ve loved,” she said. “I think I’ve been able to see that story from a different angle, and now I’m sufficient on my own.”
The “Waka Waka” singer said that she has “come out stronger” after going through “life’s battles.” This is because Gerard is said to have cheated on her with his current girlfriend, 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti, with whom he recently became an Instagram official.
Shakira added, “When a woman has to fight in life, she comes out stronger.” She said that she is focusing on being a “lioness” for her two children with Piqué, Milan, 10, and Sasha, 8.
