Marcelle Scheyer is a registered nurse who has worked for more than 11 years in the Cardiac ICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Medical ICU at Rush University Medical Center.

She went to Florida State University and got a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Know About Jon Scheyer’s Head Coach Career

After his time overseas, Scheyer was hired as a special assistant by Duke men’s basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski in April 2013. This was after assistant coach Chris Collins quit. Steve Wojciechowski left the Blue Devils staff on April 18, 2014, and Scheyer was then made a full assistant coach. After Jeff Capel left at the end of the 2018 season to become the head coach at the University of Pittsburgh, Scheyer and Nate James were both promoted to co-associate head coach. Scheyer filled in for Krzyzewski as head coach when Duke beat Boston College 83–82 on January 6, 2021. Krzyzewski had to miss the game because he was in quarantine after getting COVID-19.

Mike Krzyzewski got retired at the end of the 2021–22 basketball season. On June 2, 2021, it was announced that Scheyer would take over as Duke’s head basketball coach. After Krzyzewski retired in April 2022, he became the head coach.
