Kelsey Plum went on Twitter earlier this year to clear up rumors about her relationship status. Plum said that she is not married and has never been married. She also said that she is not dating a man named Josh.

Plum tweeted on May 24, 2022, “I don’t know where it came from, but let’s clear the air: I’m not married and I’ve never been married. Still, I’d love to meet this mysterious man.”

Several news outlets have wrongly said that Kelsey Plum is married to a man named Josh, but they haven’t said anything else about their relationship or who Josh is.

About Kelsey Plum’s Early Life And Career

Plum’s parents are Katie and Jim Plum. At the University of California, Davis, her mother was a successful volleyball player. Her father played high school football in La Mesa, California, where he received All-American recognition. He later played baseball and football for San Diego State University. In addition to a younger brother, Plum has two older sisters. Both of her sisters played volleyball, just like their mother.

When it came time for high school, Plum selected basketball over volleyball while Kelsey chose La Jolla Country Day School over Poway High School, where her sisters had gone. Kelsey initially played volleyball and excelled in the USA Volleyball junior system. Candice Wiggins played her high school sports at La Jolla Country Day School.

Plum scored 2,247 points in her four years of high school, averaging 19.9 points per contest. She has 370 steals, 381 assists on buckets, and 677 rebounds. Her squad finished 103-22 over the course of her four years, including four section crowns and the 2012 CIF Division IV State Championship.

Plum, who was now a starter, had a new career high in points, assists, and rebounds in 2022. He shot 42% from beyond the arc and 46% from the field, giving him 20.2 points, 5.1 assists, and 2.7 rebounds. Plum was named to her first All-Star team on June 22, and she was also chosen to start in the All-Star Game. Then, she signed a two-year contract extension with Las Vegas worth $185k one year and $200k the other year. She won All-Star MVP on July 10 after scoring 30 points.
