Michael Chandler is an American who is a professional mixed martial artist. He is currently fighting in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Chandler has been a professional fighter since 2009. He first became known when he started fighting for Bellator MMA.  

Chandler became the three-time Bellator Lightweight Champion and the winner of the Bellator Season Four Lightweight Tournament.

Talking about his personal life, Michael is a married man. He is married to Brie Willet for the last eight years. Chandler and Brie started dating in 2013, but before that, they had been in contact with each other for over two years. Soon after, they got engaged. Michael announced the news on Twitter by saying, “She said yes…” They got married in 2014, the same year they got engaged.

Meet Brie Willett, Michael Chandler’s Girlfriend

Brie Willett was born in Columbia, Missouri, and pursued biology and psychology at Taylor University. After that, she went to Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and got her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

Brie was a finalist at the 2003 Miss Missouri Teen pageant, which was won by Amber Seyer.

Brie worked as a counselor at Kanakuk Kamps after she got her degree in medical science. She was also resident PR for Critical Care Medicine at the University of Missouri Hospital.

She is currently a doctor at OVME Aesthetics in Nashville, where she performs corrective and cosmetic surgeries. She used to work at The Executive Medical Spa, San Marco, California.

Brie is quite active on Instagram under the username @briechandler, where she has amassed a huge fan following of 35.6K followers as of now. She keeps updating her fans by posting pictures with her husband and children.

Micahel Chandler And Brie Willett Adopted Two Sons

Michael and Brie have two sons, Hap and Ace.

Michael Chandler and his wife, Brie Willett, adopted a son, Hap Whitaker, in 2017. In October of the same year, the former lightweight champion of Bellator shared the news on his Instagram account.

He captioned the photo, “HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT: ever since @briechandler was a teenager she has always had a heart to adopt. This is something that we have thought about and prayed about over the last 5 years and we are excited to announce that we have adopted our first son, our pride and joy, Hap Michael Chandler. It has been a long process to get him into our arms but God’s hand has been in it the whole way through. Today more than ever, we are reminded of Phil. 1:6 “He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” We are truly blessed and truly excited about the future.”

In April 2022, their second adopted son Ace was born.
