Jeffrey Dahmer is the subject of the new Netflix series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was an American serial killer and s*x offender who was born on May 21, 1960, and died on November 28, 1994. He was also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster. Between 1978 and 1991, he killed and cut up seventeen men and boys. Many of his later murders involved necrophilia, cannibalism, and the long-term storage of body parts, usually the skeleton or part of it.
Dahmer was found to be legally sane at his trial, even though he had been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, and a psychotic disorder. He was found guilty of fifteen of the sixteen murders he had done in Wisconsin. On February 17, 1992, he was given fifteen sentences to life in prison. Later, Dahmer was given the sixteenth sentence of life in prison for another murder he committed in Ohio in 1978.
It seems like he never had a steady boyfriend or any kind of steady relationship. Based on all of the interviews, he wanted a loving relationship in the way he thought of love if that makes sense. He wanted someone who would be with him all the time and with whom he could talk.
Jeffrey Dahmer was definitely an attractive man. But he felt bad about himself because of how he was raised and because he was gay, which he found hard to accept. He grew up in a conservative and homophobic family at a time when being gay was still taboo.
Dahmer couldn’t have a long-term relationship because, after a hard childhood, he became an alcoholic and never learned how to be a nice person. That’s why he worked the third shift at a candy factory and drugged young men at the gay bars. Dahmer realized that he would never have a boyfriend, so he sexually assaulted people.

Dahmer killed his first person in 1978. He used a dumbbell to lure 18-year-old hitchhiker Steven Hicks back to his house for drinks, where he beat and strangled him with the dumbbell handle. He cut up Hicks’ body in his basement before burying it in the garden. He would then dig up the body, put it in acid, and break the bones with a sledgehammer.
In 1987, after serving in the US Army in West Germany, he killed 25-year-old Steven Tuomi in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This was his second murder. Later, Dahmer took Tuomi’s body apart and threw away all of the parts except for the head.
James Doxtator, a 14-year-old native American boy who worked as a prostitute, was his victim. He paid him $50 to pose for naked pictures, then strangled him and put his body in his basement.
He would eventually kill Doxtator the same way he killed Tuomi.
Dahmer met his next victim, Richard Guerrero, outside of a bar in Milwaukee. Guerrero was 22 years old. Dahmer gave him $50 to go back to his grandmother’s house with him, where Dahmer gave him drugs and strangled him.
He then had sexual relations with Guerrero’s dead body and cut it up.
Anthony Sears, who was 24 and wanted to be a model, met his killer in a bar.
Dahmer got Sears to go to his grandmother’s house with him, where he gave him drugs and strangled him. He also kept Sears’ head and reproductive organs as gruesome trophies because he thought Sears was “exceptionally attractive.”
After Anthony Sears, Dahmer didn’t kill anyone else for a while. In September 1988, he was given a year in prison for sexually assaulting 13-year-old Keison Sinthasomphone.
After he got out of prison, Dahmer moved into an apartment in Milwaukee. Soon, he met Raymond Smith, a 32-year-old sex worker.
Dahmer gave Smith $50 to go with him to his house. Then he gave him drugs and killed him by strangling him. He took pictures of Smith’s body before he cut it up. He saved Smith’s head and put it next to Sears’ body parts.
Dahmer knew his seventh victim, Edward Smith, who was 27 years old.
They may have been seen together in clubs before, and Smith’s brother said at Dahmer’s trial that Smith “tried to be Jeffrey Dahmer’s friend.” Dahmer, however, killed him and put some of his body parts in his freezer until they started to rot and fall apart.
Ernest Miller, who was 22, and David Thomas, who was also 22, were both killed by Dahmer in September 1990.
Miller was killed first, and his throat was cut instead of being drugged and strangled like most of Dahmer’s other victims. Three weeks later, Dahmer met Thomas and was able to get him back to his apartment.
After that, Dahmer gave him drugs and strangled him, but he didn’t keep any of his body parts.
Curtis Straughter, who was 17 years, agreed to go back to Dahmer’s apartment after Dahmer pulled his usual trick of giving him money for naked pictures.
Dahmer then gave him drugs, strangled him, took pictures of him, and cut him up. He saved different parts of his body both to eat and to keep as trophies.
Lindsey, who was 19, died in one of the most painful ways. For a horrible experiment, he was kept alive.
Dahmer drugged Lindsey after luring him back to his apartment. He then drilled a hole in his head and poured hydrochloric acid into it.
Dahmer met the first victim, Anthony Hughes, at a gay bar in Milwaukee in May 1991. Hughes, who was incapable of hearing, agreed to go home with Dahmer. Once there, Dahmer gave Hughes drugs and strangled him.

Not long after that, Dahmer lured 14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone to his apartment. Konerak was the younger brother of the boy Dahmer had hurt in 1988.
Dahmer tried to “drill” Sinthasomphone again as part of his experiment. Sinthasomphone got away, but Dahmer talked him into coming back.
He then went back to his drilling experiment, which killed him in the end.
Matthew Turner, who was 20, died like a lot of other people. Turner agreed to go back to Dahmer’s apartment, where he gave him drugs, strangled him, and cut him up.
Dahmer then put some of Turner’s body parts in his freezer to keep them from going bad.
In the span of two weeks, Dahmer killed Jeremiah Weinberger, who was 23 years old, Oliver Lacy, who was 24, and Joseph Bradehoft, who was 25 years old.
But Dahmer’s luck ran out on July 22, 1991.
Just a few days after killing Bradehoft, he got Tracy Edwards, 32, to come to his apartment by saying he would pay him for naked photos. Edwards was able to run away, and he led police to Dahmer’s apartment.
The police found more than enough proof to show that Jeffery Dahmer had hurt more than just Edwards.
