Know About Abby Choi’s Husband As She Is Brutally Murdered

Abby Choi, a 28-year-old social media influencer from Hong Kong, was discovered deceased with her body dismembered in a rented house located in Lung Mei Village.

Abby Choi, a socialite, and model from Hong Kong was featured on the cover of a fashion and luxury lifestyle magazine less than two weeks ago. However, on Tuesday, February 21, she was reported missing, and on Friday, her headless body was discovered in a village house located in Tai Po, a Hong Kong suburb.

According to the South China Morning Post, her dismembered body had been partially cooked, and some of the remains were found stored in the refrigerator.

What Happened To Abby Choi: How Did She Die

Police discovered Abby Choi’s dismembered body in a rented house located in the village of Lung Mei, which is situated approximately a 30-minute drive from the city centre. The police had to break into the house, which was being rented by her ex-father-in-law, on Friday afternoon. Inside, they found two legs in the refrigerator, along with the victim’s ID card, credit card, and other belongings.

The police superintendent, Alan Chung, also stated that human tissue was discovered in pots of soup, while the victim’s head, torso, and hands were not found at the scene.

According to Chung, the flat had been meticulously arranged by cold-blooded killers, and tools commonly used to dismember human bodies, such as meat grinders, chainsaws, long raincoats, gloves, and masks, were discovered inside. The house had been rented by Abby’s former father-in-law just a few weeks prior. Three of the model’s former in-laws were arrested by the police, who are still searching for her ex-husband.

Local media reports suggest that Abby Choi’s murder is related to a disagreement over HK$100 million (approximately S$17 million).

According to reports in Hong Kong media, Abby Choi had two children with her former husband, who is known as Alex Kwong. Although it is not clear when she and Mr. Kwong divorced, Ms. Choi married her current husband in 2016.

Her current husband is the son of one of the founders of TamJai Yunnan Mixian, a Hong Kong-based fast-casual restaurant chain that also operates in mainland China. The chain was later acquired by Toridoll HK.
