Avery A. Skinner is the daughter of Brian Skinner. She is an American pro volleyball player who was born on April 25, 1999. She plays as an outside hitter. She will play for the French team Béziers Volley in the French A League in the 2022–2023 season.

Skinner comes from Katy, Texas. Before she was 13, she danced tap, ballet, and musical theater in addition to volleyball. At that age, she decided to focus on volleyball alone.
