Stokke would keep pole-vaulting and take part in two NCAA Division I Championships. She did try out for the US Olympic team for the 2012 games, but she didn’t make it. In 2017, Fowler contacted the woman who would become his wife through social media. In a 2020 interview with Rocket Mortgage, he said the following: “I contacted her through social media. She seemed like the kind of person who would be a good fit for me… She seems honest and beautiful, and I thought she would be fun to be with.”
