Rickie Fowler’s Wife Allison Is A Famous Pole Vaulter
Allison Stokke was born in Newport Beach, California, on March 22, 1989. She was very good at pole vaulting in high school, breaking a number of American records at that level. She got an athletic scholarship to study Sociology at the University of California, Berkeley. This was because of how good she was. Stokke would keep pole-vaulting and take part in two NCAA Division I Championships. She did try out for the US Olympic team for the 2012 games, but she didn’t make it. In 2015, after three years, she became a model for Nike and Athleta. She also did some work for the company GoPro, where she put a camera on the end of a pole to show how the sport was run.
Allison became famous when photos of her competing in 2007 when she was 17 went viral. The sports blog “With Leather,” which is mostly read by men, picked up on the photos. From there, they spread around the world, with comments from The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, Der Spiegel, and even the BBC. Stokke wasn’t entirely happy with her newfound fame. She told, “It just all feels really demeaning.” “I worked so hard for pole vaulting and all this other stuff, and it’s almost like that doesn’t matter. “No one can see it. No one really looks at me.” Stokke’s best jump was 4.36 meters in 2012, but he didn’t make the American Olympic team. She kept competing even though she didn’t do well, and she also worked as a sportswear model.

Rickie And Allison Met Through Social Media
In 2017, Fowler contacted the woman who would become his wife through social media. In a 2020 interview with Rocket Mortgage, he said the following: “I contacted her through social media. She seemed like the kind of person who would be a good fit for me… She seems honest and beautiful, and I thought she would be fun to be with.”
Social media comments suggest that Rickie and Allison started dating in March of 2017, but they were officially a couple the following month. They got engaged in the middle of 2018. Justin Thomas, a colleague, and a friend helped Fowler with his idea. Before the 2018 U.S. Open, the three of them went to Southampton to relax. There, Thomas and Fowler came up with the idea to ask Thomas to marry him. They got married in October 2019. The 33-year-old woman is often seen cheering on her golfer husband on the course, and she often posts photos of herself and the golfing star.

The couple said that their first child, Maya, was born in 2021. Fowler wrote in an Instagram post, “Everyone, Happy Thanksgiving! As you can see, Allison and I are so grateful that our lives have a whole new meaning. Maya Fowler was born on 11/18/21. I have a full heart!!”
