Lili Paul-Roncalli, Dominic Thiem’s girlfriend, is a German dancer. Lili is the daughter of Roncalli Paul, an Austrian director and co-founder of Circus Roncalli, and Eliana Paul, an Italian artist.
Since she was six years old, Roncalli has been teaching with the artists of the Circus Roncalli. Lili Paul made her debut as roller skater acrobat Les Paul on the touring program Time is Honey in 2013, alongside her two brothers.

Thiem was up 5–2 against Adrian Mannarino in the Mallorca Championships when he was forced to retire due to a right wrist injury, which also forced him to withdraw from the 2021 Wimbledon Championships. Thiem declared on August 18 that he will be withdrawing for the rest of the 2021 season due to a wrist injury.
“I anticipated qualifying for the US Open would be difficult following my injury,” Dominic continued, “but finishing the 2021 season was a wonderful surprise.”
