Bernard McGuirk died after fighting prostate cancer for a long time. But no one knows for sure if he was in a hospital or at home when he died.
McGuirk told his fans last year that he was fighting cancer, and they sent him their best wishes on social media. Later, in December 2021, he posted a picture of himself from the hospital bed with a caption telling everyone to get colonoscopies and prostate checks.
He even told other people not to make the same mistakes because the results could be worse than what he went through. McGuirk went through a long time of chemotherapy.
Even though he had cancer, he kept working and enjoyed what he was doing.

On April 1, 2015, during the Imus in the Morning show on Fox Business, McGuirk called Apple CEO Tim Cook a “bigoted hypocrite” for “running his mouth” about the Indiana law on religious freedom that was passed the month before.
Regarding Presidential aspirant Barack Obama, McGuirk stated: “He is a beginner and has no experience. It’s all because he’s half black, it’s rude, and he’s Oprah’s guy.” After Imus tried to stop him, McGuirk went on to say that it was rude to support Obama and called him a “jug-eared neophyte.”
McGuirk was involved in an on-air incident on April 4, 2007, that caused a national uproar and led to both him and Imus being fired. During a discussion of the Rutgers University women’s basketball team, Imus called the players “rough girls with tattoos.”
On January 9, 2014, during a debate on Imus in the Morning about a group putting up a statue of Satan next to a sign of the Ten Commandments, McGuirk said, “They should be able to put the statue up, and then they should be shot right next to it, and then we take it down.” McGuirk later apologized, saying that his comments were “rooted in ignorance.”
