Julia Garner won the best supporting actress in a musical, comedy, or drama award at the 2023 Golden Globes on Tuesday for her role in Ozark. She beat out Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), Hannah Einbinder (Hacks), Janelle James (Abbott Elementary), and Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary). Garner, who is 28, was also nominated this year for best performance by an actress in a limited series, anthology series, or motion picture made for television for her lead role in Inventing Anna.
Garner chose a pale pink Gucci dress with a corset-style bustier and straps that sparkled. Her dress was styled by Elizabeth Saltzman. Garner said when she got her first Golden Globe, “I’m so grateful to be here with all of you. Playing Ruth for the past few years has been the greatest gift in my life.”

Mark Foster is a singer and musician who is married to Julia Garner. He is best known as the lead singer for the indie pop band Foster the People. One morning, during a stroll by Flathead Lake, Garner was surprised when Foster read her a heartfelt poem and dropped down on one knee to pop the question.
Mark And Julia later got married in an intimate ceremony in December 2019 in New York City Hall, her husband even surprised her by singing a song he wrote called “Lovers in a Stream” as they danced as husband and wife for the first time.
