Amanda Kloots wants to clear up rumors that she is dating Michael Allio.
In December, the “The Talk” co-host posted a photo of herself and the “Bachelorette” alum looking friendly, which led to rumors that they were dating.
But the performer, who is 39, says that if they were dating, “we wouldn’t just take a picture and post it.”
Kloots says that the rumors “are coming from a good place.”
She told E! News, “It’s because he has a great online support system and fans all over the world who just want him to do well in life and find love again, and I have a great group of fans who want the same for me.”
We both laughed at it, but neither of us was angry about it….
People only want us to be happy and find love again. So, there is nothing wrong with that.”
The dancer was married to Broadway star Nick Cordero, who died of COVID-19 complications in July 2020 at age 41. Elvis, their son, is now 2 years old. Allio’s wife, Laura Ritter-Allio, died of cancer in January 2019. He is the father of their son, James, who is 5 years old.
Friends pushed the two to connect on social media, where they met for the first time.
“It’s great to meet other widows and single parents who are in the same situation as you. It makes you feel like you’re not alone.
“When you’ve been through trauma like we have, you can be honest and at ease right away,” she said. “We are both from Ohio, have little boys, and have been through a very hard time in our lives. We look out for each other.”

That doesn’t mean Kloots isn’t ready for love, though.
“Listen, you know, I love love. I love being in love. She said, “I love being married.” “I enjoy being with someone. I also think that, like Elvis, I miss having that family in my life.”
She is sure that is also what her late husband would have wanted for her.
Amanda continued, “I talk to Nick all the time when I’m driving, and before the holidays I told him, ‘OK, honey, it’s time. Like, you have to send me a really great guy because I’m really lonely and would love to be hugged and kissed again. So you have to send me someone very special because I’m ready.”
