Claire Conner McCaskill is an American politician who was the State Auditor of Missouri from 1999 to 2007 and the United States Senator from Missouri from 2007 to 2019.
In 2006, McCaskill was chosen to serve in the U.S. Senate. Even though she is the second woman to represent Missouri in the Senate, she is the first woman from Missouri to be elected to the Senate. When Did Claire And Joseph Get Married?
Claire And Joseph met at a birthday party, as per the sources. Soon they started dating and in 2002, McCaskill tied the knot with Joseph Shepard. She told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, “My husband and I are a team.” “We are married and share everything, including money, kids, and a house. It’s the money that I’ve given to my campaign. My family backs me up in what I do. Some people have made it sound like the things my family owns don’t belong to me. That idea is pretty old-fashioned.”

Claire Was Previously Married To David Exposito
McCaskill is married for the second time to Joseph Shepard. David Exposito was her first husband. KMBC-TV says that Esposito was found dead outside of a daycare center when he was 64 years old in 2004.
Exposito was the father of McCaskill’s three children, the TV station said: “Exposito and McCaskill got a divorce in 1995. The couple had three kids: a son who were 18 and two daughters who were 16 and 14. This was what the TV station said at the time.
Expositio was killed by a gunshot, but it’s not clear why. In a news release, McCaskill said, “Obviously, this is a very hard time for me and my children as they grieve the loss of their father.” I will spend time with my kids to help them deal with this terrible loss, and I know that other people will give my family space during this terrible time.” The Wall Street Journal says that Exposito “was arrested for smoking marijuana at a local casino while McCaskill was out of town.”
