Jacque T. Vaughn is an American coach and former player who was born on February 11, 1975. He is the head coach of the National Basketball Association’s Brooklyn Nets.
Vaughn was born in Pasadena, California. He went to John Muir High School in nearby Pasadena, where he got a 3.94 GPA and became the best high school player in that area since Stacey Augmon, who also went to John Muir and became a star in the NBA.
Vaughn did well both on and off the court. By the time he was a senior, he was ranked as the no. 7 high school recruit in the country and the no. 2 point guard in the class of 1993, right behind Randy Livingston, who was probably the best player in the country that year. Vaughn averaged more than 21 points and 19 assists per game and had six triple-doubles during the season.

Jacques Vaughn Makes Humorous Allusions To His Wife When Discussing His Position With The Nets
Jacques Vaughn has shown that he is the kind of coach who loves to get to know his players.
Since he has been an assistant coach for the Nets for a long time, all of the players already respect him. But that doesn’t just happen by itself.
No, you have to be humble and know how to talk to people to get all these people on your side.
And his recent funny answer in an interview shows that Jacques Vaughn has everything. A little humor about how bad you are. The best of the best.
He said, “I guess I was the, what is it, the write-in candidate in the mind of elections right now, but I’m okay with that. I said to my wife, ‘I might have not been her first choice and we’ve been together twenty years,’ so it could all work out, and off we go.”
By doing this, the man has already won over the hearts of all NBA fans. We don’t think that will change soon.
