Jason Ritter and Melanie Lynskey, who are married, will be in a movie together for the second time this year. Ritter is going to be a guest star in one episode of the second season of “Yellowjackets” on Showtime. Ritter was on “Candy” by Peacock, which was led by Lynskey, earlier this year. At the time, she told Variety that having him on set made her look good.
“He is an amazing actor and a very nice person. Everyone at work said, “Your husband is the nicest person!” when I went back to work. She said, “It makes me look smart like I picked a great partner. “He’s so good, and it’s fun to work with someone who is creative and interesting and does something different in every take, which is what he does. He is also so good at making things up on the spot. We try to help each other out when one of us is working, which makes it hard. It would be hard if we both worked full-time on something. When I’m at work, I already feel like our nanny is working so hard!”

Melanie Lynskey and Jason Ritter’s love story is very similar to a Hollywood love story. They met at work, fell in love, and lived happily ever after. The two actors met on the set of The Big Ask in 2013. They went on to work together in two more movies before announcing their engagement in February 2017.
During an appearance on Hollywood Today Live at the time, Lynskey said, “Now he’s my fiancé.” “Yes, I know, and I’m telling you.” Less than two years later, in January 2019, Us Weekly reported that the Yellowjackets star and the former Parenthood actress had had their first child. Later that month, Lynskey confirmed that her daughter had been born, saying that the baby was born in December 2018. “We feel lucky that we could keep our news to ourselves for a while, but I guess the story got out, so! Yes!” the former star of “Two and a Half Men” tweeted in January 2019. “We love her a lot; she’s perfect.”

Last year, the 41-year-old Emmy Award nominee made a funny comment about Lynskey’s haters after the 44-year-old Yellowjackets star called out fans who made comments about her body while pretending to care about her health. Ritter wrote on Twitter, “If anyone has any more unasked-for comments about anyone else’s body, they can write them in permanent ink on their own foreheads and swan dive straight into the sun.”
