Andrew Ladd McConkey is an American football wide receiver for the Georgia Bulldogs. He was born on November 11, 2001. McConkey went to high school in Chatsworth, Georgia, at North Murray High School. As a freshman, he made the varsity team. McConkey was an athlete who played quarterback, running back, defensive back, punter, and return specialist.
McConkey was a three-star recruit who committed to the University of Georgia on February 2, 2020. McConkey sat out a year and was at first on Georgia’s scout team. He scored a touchdown against Florida, and then in the game of the century against Tennessee, he had 94 yards, which was his season high. The next week, against Mississippi State, McConkey ran for a touchdown from 70 yards away and also caught a touchdown pass from 17 yards away.
